Photo editor
This module reworks a photo you already have. Some tools use our AI system (background cut-out, removing and changing areas, light, extending the frame, improving quality), and some run instantly in your browser (crop, rotate, colour adjustments, a new background under a cut-out subject). Every step goes into the history, so you can go back to an earlier version at any time.
What it's for
- Who it's for: people who already have a photo and want to fix it quickly without design skills.
- Use it when: you have a specific shot and want to improve something in it - cut out the background, remove a cable from the table, change an area, even out the light, crop it for a post or raise the quality.
- If you want a full set of clean packshots from one photo, use Product photos. If you want the product in a new setting, use Lifestyle photos. Add text and graphics on top of a photo in the posts module.
Before you start
- Permissions: a role allowed to use services (member and above).
- Module enabled: "Photo editor" must be active for your company. If it's not in the menu, ask for it with the Request a module button on the dashboard or via Report in the top bar.
- Photo: drop a file from your disk or take a photo from the Asset Library (including images made in other modules).
How to edit a photo
- Open Photo editor from your company menu.
- Drop a photo or pick one from the library. The start screen also shows Recent renders - AI results from the last 14 days that were not saved.
- Choose a tool from the rail on the left. Not sure where to start? Click Suggestions - the AI looks at the photo and proposes what to fix.
- Set the tool up in the panel on the right. Paint over areas to remove or change with the brush, or click an object and let the system select it. For changes with text, write a sentence such as "make the jacket red".
- Click Apply. AI tools take from a few seconds to a few minutes - you can close the tab meanwhile, the result is waiting when you come back. Tools without AI apply instantly.
- Compare the result with the Before / after slider or by holding the
\key. The History tab takes you back to any step. - Click Save to library to put the current step in the Asset Library. Download saves a copy to your disk, and Send to opens Video from photo straight away.

Limits and notes
- Monthly limit: every AI operation uses one slot of your company's monthly limit - what is left is shown next to Apply and in the bar in the module header. Tools without AI and suggestions do not use the limit.
- Saving: only what you save goes to the library. Unsaved AI results are not lost - they wait in "Recent renders" for 14 days.
- History: changes stack one after another; clicking an earlier step takes you back to it, and a new change from there replaces the later steps.
- Available tools: the list of AI tools depends on your company's configuration - some may be disabled.
Troubleshooting
